Inshield^™ is a clear, non-corrosive organic timber preservative designed specifically for use with high quality Australian hardwoods.

Applied by pressure treatment to provide protection from wood boring insects including termites.

Inshield^™ is a waterborne-organic insecticide, especially formulated to protect high quality Australian timber flooring from wood boring insects including termite attack, with little or no change to the wood’s natural colour.

When applied correctly, Inshield^™ treated timber conforms with the Australian Standard AS1604.1 to Hazard Class Level H1 or H2. For details on what the hazard classifications are please go to the Treatment Guide page.

Inshield^™ has undergone extensive commercial trials to ensure all aspects of the insecticide’s ability to withstand the rigours of the production and processing operation and to ensure efficacy of the insecticide in practice. Based on the active ingredient permethrin, Inshield^™ has proven itself to be an effective and reliable insecticide.

Designed for use in Industrial vacuum/pressure application plants, Inshield^™ is compatible with most other water borne timber preservatives.

Inshield^™ will penetrate the sapwood of most Australian Hardwoods and Softwoods during the treatment process and is particularly effective against Lyctus (wood borer) at very cost competitive rates.

Standard metal or plastic fasteners can be used with Inshield^™ treated products. Follow manufacturer’s recommendations.
